Kathryn and Chris could not have been more perfect. There’s something about shooting a maternity session, an inexplainable joy and anticipation that is so real. I got a glimpse of what it would feel like to share that kind of bond and to look forward to the next season in life. Kathryn made being pregnant look so easy! Cupcakes from Kara’s marked the date of their upcoming wedding, izzy soda, pinwheels and balloons — Yaxi is a lover of the little details, like me! Yaxi and Kai came out to SF from Houston to shoot in the city they both love and miss since moving out to Texas. They met at UC Berkeley where their story began and despite the crazy SF weather, we had such a great time shooting and laughing…and laughing even more.

Lately time seems to be flying by…and Mondays continue to greet me along with its weekly to-do list. There’s something so motivating and encouraging about a Monday morning, as that long list stares me in the face. I’m such a list maker. I need lists. Lists of to-dos, lists of things I’ve completed, goals to achieve… there’s something so relieving about crossing something off your weekly to do list, right? Well here’s to another full week of to-dos!

I get to share a brand new studio space with some amazingly talented wedding vendors who’s heart is to add more creativity and a new perspective to the wedding world. I had been aching to start something like this here in the South Bay so when Allison from Engaged and Inspired approached me about it, I felt like it was the perfect time to jump in.
