Featured! 100 Layer Cake // Wes Anderson Inspired Shoot

So thrilled to wake up to this feature this morning! Thank you to 100 Layer Cake for featuring Hanniel and Chris and sharing their super touching love story. These guys are near and dear to my heart and it was SUCH a dream to be able to create this Wes Anderson themed shoot. Big shout out to Rebekah from A & B Creative for the tag teaming genius that she brought to the shoot. And how can I not mention the ever so talented Nikol Elaine Artistry who did an amazing job on all of Hanniel’s looks. Can’t wait to shoot this wedding in Hawaii!! Congrats to Hanniel and Chris! Featured! 100 Layer Cake // French Foodie Bridal Shower

I am so so happy to finally share this Bridal Shower with you and even more excited to see it on 100 Layer Cake today! A big thank you to the ladies over at 100 Layer Cake for featuring this bridal shower, styled by the ever so creative and talented Rebekah of A & B Creative, who is also a bridesmaid in the shoot. This group of ladies are super talented, most of the bridesmaids contributed to the shoot, from hair to invites, this is one talented bridal party! Not to mention, the bride herself is the owner of an adorable vintage furniture boutique, Mignonne. The shower was located at her place, with all its amazing decor (her place was also featured on Apartment Therapy a while back). I always love collaborating on creative shoots and this was definitely a fun day…we had such a fun time celebrating Johnelle over some delicious cocktails, an olive tasting bar and ridiculously tasting food. Isn’t this a fun spin on the traditional bridal shower? Featured! Ruffled Blog // Cinco de Mayo Elopement

I was asked to photograph a colorful Cinco de Mayo shoot for Ruffled Blog, featured today…check it out! I teamed up with the ever so talented Rebekah of A & B Creative to bring this color infused shoot to life. The inspiration for the design of this shoot came from Mexican scenery, from dry and arid to lush and bright. The warm wood tones, antique spools and antlers contrasted the bright cigar boxes, patterned plates, and vintage Mexican textiles. Aren’t the florals to die for? I absolutely loved them especially since they featured my favorite flowers: peonies and ranunculus. The bride’s hair was inspired by Frida Kahlo’s classic look, which was a perfect complement to the “Frida” wall. If you want to read more about the design behind the shoot and see a whole gallery of images from our shoot, check out Ruffled!
