It is always a joy to see my work in the pages of a print magazine, especially one as beautifully curated as Utterly Engaged. I felt so honored and lucky to document such a memorable day for Danielle and Caleb. Their wedding (more to come soon!) was a dream to be a part of mainly because the love that poured out of this couple was truly infectious. To this day, its one my all time favorite weddings. If you haven’t picked up a copy of Utterly Engaged, you’re missing out. The pages in this magazine are truly a work of art, especially if you’re a print obsessed collector like me.
Oh how sweet love is. This wedding was an intimate little gathering that oozed humility, love and pure joy. Dan and Rachael were surrounded by their friends and family from the bay area and Colorado to witness the pure love between them. Their ceremony was beyond sweet, so genuine, I had a permanent smile on my face the whole time. Their love is contagious…spending 5 minutes with them, you could feel it. Arash and I absolutely loved photographing and exploring the rolling hills of Marin with them. 
Winter weddings can be enchanted…this was definitely one. The great outdoors at its best. I absolutely love shooting up in the Marin Headlands, its one of the most inspiring places for me to explore. Whitney and Dan tied the knot in an intimate ceremony with a few family and friends and it was a magical day.
Well this one may be a longer post but so completely worth it. Over the summer, Arash and I did quite a bit of traveling, a few destination weddings were on the calendar and this one being the most near and dear to my heart. Why? Because the bride is not only my oldest friend (we’ve been friends since we were 5 and 6 years old!) but Chris and Hanniel have an insanely beautiful love. Gotta love San Francisco with its endless amount of modern flair. Kathy and Gilbert embody the SF style and their wedding did not disappoint. The ceremony was held in the center of The Palace of Fine Art as on lookers and tourists watched from a distance. The Foreign Cinema could not have been a more perfect location for the reception since Kathy and Gilbert are the biggest film buffs. The start of their relationship was centered around films, attending every film festival together. You have to watch their engagement film at the end of this post. They created it just for their wedding reception and projected it on the wall at the Foreign Cinema during dinner. It was a huge hit to say the least and such a perfect way to bring it all together.
