Joe and Victoria’s wedding story is featured on Style Me Pretty today which is super exciting! I absolutely love photographing intimate weddings especially weddings with a backdrop like the Fairmont SF Penthouse. You can read more about Victoria’s inspiration here but I can safely say working with these two was a dream. Vicotria is a blogger, check out her daily inspiration on vmac+cheese — so fun! We instantly hit it off, from fashion to photography, I love it when my clients bring their sense of style and unique flair to their weddings and their personalities shine through. This wedding was full of unique elements, a high class cocktail party in the heart of the city. And working with an incredible team of vendors like Natalie Bowen and Amy Kaneko…double win!

Winter weddings can be enchanted…this was definitely one. The great outdoors at its best. I absolutely love shooting up in the Marin Headlands, its one of the most inspiring places for me to explore. Whitney and Dan tied the knot in an intimate ceremony with a few family and friends and it was a magical day.

Happy New year! Another new season has begun! It was really nice to spend some holiday down time with family and see some friends from out of town. The holidays are always a great time to reflect on the year. Something Arash and I love to do every new years eve is sit down and write out our goals for the upcoming year and chat over the year’s biggest accomplishments and weaknesses from the years past. I feel so blessed to have an amazing partner in Arash, someone who not only supports me in every creative endeavor but challenges me creatively and dares me to dream even bigger. This year we are so excited for whats to come…we’ll be launching a brand new business in addition to our photography, something we’ve been cooking up for the last year! We’ll also be introduced to our baby girl in April which will be a huge blessing we can’t wait for. What are you looking forward to in 2013? We can’t wait to share our journey here…cheers to 2013!

Andrea & JJ Beard, one of the sweetest, most genuine couples you’ll ever meet. They tied the knot at one of the greenest spots in SF – the Conservatory of Flowers, a giant home for some of the most beautiful exotic plants and flowers. And if there’s one thing that inspires me the most its natural elements which the Conservatory had plenty of. In addition to all the cute paper products and details they designed, Andrea and JJ cut and curated all the stone centerpieces for each table, which held a collection of their favorite cheeses and garnishes — the perfect edible center piece, in my opinion. When two super talented graphic designers fall in love and get married, you can only expect to attend one very unique event, right?
