Now these bridesmaids know how to throw a modern San Francisco shower! Angie’s bridesmaids put together a super cute, modern bridal shower. I loved all the greys, pinks and whites. So much DIY decor, flowers from SF Flower Mart, white milk glass vases, bud vases that held the menu cards, custom printed chopsticks, game cards, and such yummy food from hello, good bite. .

Bay Area Portrait Photographer | Holiday Session: Romero Family

I don’t know about you but there is something so warm, endearing and lovely about the trees right now. Warm reds, oranges, yellows…they light up the streets everywhere I go and I have to hold myself back from stopping and photographing each one. The Romero Family mirror my feelings about these trees because they exude a warmth that is so contagious, you just want to be around them all day long. From the moment I walked into their home I felt like family. I began to play outside with little Sophia and Paula and I instantly knew we were going to have alot of fun shooting. These girls are so adorable! Adriana, thank you SO much for inviting me into your home and allowing me to capture your beautiful family!!

Bay area portrait photographer | Holiday Session: Haque Family

For the month of December, I’m shooting mini photo sessions for the holidays and I was so excited to be able to photograph the Haque/Cochran family. Natalie and I went to high school together and it had been ages since we had seen each other. I got an email from her dad asking about my mini holiday sessions and I couldn’t have been more excited to get to see this beautiful family again and get to meet little Kaden for the first time! Natalie and Chad’s adorable son Kaden was a dream to photograph, does it get much cuter? I mean really. I loved the time I got to spend with them, they are such a sweet family! Here are few from the shoot…if you’re interested in booking a mini session email me using the contact form above.

There’s so much you can do with photographs, so many creative ways to share them. So why not add this to your wish list? Now available weekdays and weekends through December 21st.

I’ve partnered up with Minted.com to offer you some pretty rad holiday gift ideas from cards to calendars…they have so many great designs to choose from. Being a designer myself, I find that some photo cards I’ve seen out there can be cheesy BUT when I stumbled upon Minted.com I wanted to create some cards for Arash and myself too! I just LOVE the new calendar designs too, what a great addition to any office, eh? All the cards and calendars have such unique, modern designs with matching envelopes and labels…LOVE. Be sure to check them out here. With every holiday mini session, you can use your favorite photos to enhance any design or product you choose from Minted.com.

Enjoy your Thanksgiving everyone!!

bay area portrait photographer, Mill Valley | Baby Bardia

I love photographing kids because I get to play and capture life through their eyes. I love the moments of total discovery when they lock eyes with the lens and realize you may be holding a much cooler toy than what they have yet to play with.Cowboy hat, igloo tent, rocket car and a blue teddy bear all make up little Bardia’s interests right now as a one year old. Sometimes I think those interests remain the same as the years go by, except the toys just get more high tech. Boys will be boys! I had the pleasure of documenting this little guy turn the big O-N-E, and his parents could not have been more proud to celebrate him. He’s one of the sweetest and most gentle babies you’ll ever meet and he held his own amongst the older kids at his party too. Bardia and his friends were so much fun to shoot, super animated…scroll down and you’ll see what I mean! Want to see more from the day? Watch the SLIDESHOW!

BAY AREA LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHER | The Bay Area Fashionista

Meet Hasti. To many she’s known as The Bay Area Fashionista, brains behind TBAFBlog.com. We teamed up to shoot some promotional shots for her blog and stylist gig. I have had the pleasure of knowing Hasti since I was about 15 and I remember she used to always ask, “I wonder who you’ll marry one day…what you’ll be doing?” Fast forward to years later…both married and both pursuing our passions. I feel blessed and am truly thankful for the opportunities that God has given me…I had no idea I’d be where I’m at back when I was 15 but I’m beyond thankful and excited to see what more is in store. Many women these days are being empowered to pursue their passions and their hearts desires. In an economy that is proving to have its challenges, women have stepped into creative careers like never before. I am SO encouraged and proud to be a woman, ha! So to all the ladies out there…pursue your dreams! What makes you come alive? Run after it! Thank you Hasti for being such a great sport on our shoot, exploring, dodging trains and being a woman following her passion! Here’s to your journey!

Sarah and Yasmin are two amazing women that I am so blessed to call friends. We spent the day in SF and I couldn’t resist a little photoshoot at some of my favorite little spots in the city. Sometimes you find hidden gems as you drive around and I knew I just had to come back to this spot and who better with than these two beautiful ladies?! They both have played such key roles in my life…
Yasmin is a beautiful person inside and out. She has such a passion for life, a zeal for creativity and art and can hold her own no matter where she goes. So many creative ideas have been birthed out of hanging out together…from all nighters to road trips…conversations have turned into amazing art pieces. Its such a blessing to have a friend who appreciates the same art as you do because sometimes you run out of inspiration or sometimes you just feel pretty overwhelmed and Yasmin has been there at times in my life where I’ve needed someone to tell me to keep going and to quit being lame and get back into it. She’s been there for me over the years, through the ups and downs…no matter what gets thrown in our way, I know that she’s one friend who is in my life for the long haul.

Sarah has such a genuine heart. Her honesty and depth have been a huge strength in my life when I’ve needed it most. There is so much depth to Sarah, so much inside her heart that just pours out when you spend time with her. I love our deep talks and our hours of analyzing things and finding solutions for things that may seem way too big for us to tackle. Her joy is super contagious and I can’t remember a time where we haven’t laughed over the most ridiculous things! We met back in 2004 when we both lived in Texas but it wasn’t until after she married my friend Mani and moved out to Cali that we became good friends. We both got married in the same year and  have been able to walk through our first years of marriage together, and I can’t wait to share more of what life will bring in the years to come!I <3 you Chanels!

Mahsa and Hamed are getting married next weekend and I am definitely looking forward to celebrating with all their friends and family. I have had the pleasure of knowing Mahsa since we were teenagers. I remember running around playing “ditch” boys vs girls and Mahsa was the fastest out of all of us girls. Whenever the girls needed a representative to compete against the boys, we’d have Mahsa do the job and she never failed us! The years have gone by and she is a stunning woman inside and out, one of the classiest by far. Her beauty radiates through that gorgeous smile! I am so beyond thrilled that she has found the man of her dreams. Their shower was a show-stopper! Located in the sunny Saratoga hills, at a private secluded vineyard. All the guests wore white and the bride-to-be wore a stunning vintage Christian Dior dress. It was like no other shower I had ever been to, I felt like I was in a movie…it reminded me of The Great Gatsby. There was something very special about the entire day, from the heart-shaped watermelon slices to the gorgeous surroundings…it was simply beautiful.
