Alex & Brandon // Big Bash On Treasure Island
Alex and Brandon had one big bash on Treasure Island! Their wedding was a quintessential San Francisco affair and every piece played a role in Alex and Brandon’s story. The church they chose to say “i do” was minutes from their place in North Beach, a neighborhood they have called home for years. Their guests filled the seats in the church and quickly filed onto shuttles that would drive them over the bridge to Treasure Island, where the party began. The big white tent welcomed all their guests and hosted a beautifully designed spread for dinner. Bustle Events really outdid themselves with this design…I mean look at all that gorgeous detail! The florals were designed by none other than Natalie Bowen who just captured the 1920s whimsical garden party feel that Alex was hoping to achieve. From sea foam greens, mint, blush and coral…it was such a beautiful party!! Dancing the night away under the big white tent, across from the iconic SF skyline…what could be better? Oh wait…fireworks. It really wouldn’t be the big bash on Treasure Island without the big fireworks at the end, how would it?

Sogol & Sam, Engaged
My little sister is getting married. Its a surreal event in my world these days because I can’t help but picture us at 8 and 4, dancing around the house and singing in the mirror. She’s all grown up now and met the man who will soon be her husband. Its a joy to see her smile the way she does when she’s around Sam and spending the day shooting with them was an honor. They are two peas in a pod, as they say…and funnily enough, they’ve known each other for over a decade already. They’ve been friends since they were kids but it wasn’t until they got older that they realized there may be a *little* bit more to it than that! We’re all so happy for them and can’t wait to celebrate their wedding in the fall!

Wedding season is under way and we can’t wait to add an amazing intern to our team here at Delbarr Moradi Photography! One thing I absolutely love to do, if I’m so lucky, is to empower others, to inspire and to spark inspiration…and it wasn’t too long ago (well, maybe) when I was searching and trying to find where I fit in this world of design and photography. I got my start as an intern and was eager to soak up as much knowledge and experience as I could. I learn best by example and I hope to offer the same experience to you! This position is perfect for someone who wants to get their feet wet in the photography industry, or wants to learn how to run their own creative business. It involves lots of pretty prints, washi tape and packaging expertise!
THE FACTS:
6 month internship for those interested in the photography/creative industry. School credit preferred but not required. After completing the internship, paid positions will be strongly considered. Deadline for all applications is May 30. Hoping to start position the first week of June.
duties include:
tracking inventory // post office runs // managing the online print shoppe // prepping blog submissions // assisting with packaging & client orders // assisting on shoots when needed

Chris & Jordan // Holman Ranch Winery, Carmel
I’m so happy that Style Me Pretty featured Jordan and Chris’ wedding and told their story in all its glory. They are such a lovely couple who are incredibly sweet and totally in love. It was such an honor to be part of their day. Their wedding was stunning, a perfect blend of sophistication and elegance. I just loved how they transformed Holman Ranch and created a party that really set the bar high. Chris has such a love and true passion for wine. So it was only fitting that his collection of fine wines made its debut along with his choice of italian imported salami for cocktail hour. The entire menu and dining experience revolved around the perfect wine pairings. It was magical. Jordan and Chris were surrounded by their close friends and family all weekend and really focused on celebrating with the people they cared most about. I had the pleasure of photographing their rehearsal dinner as well, which allowed me to share more time with their incredible families. It was such a special weekend…one to remember for sure.
