Just a day in the life with Leann and Michael — hanging out at home in the adorable Willow Glen neighborhood, taking a walk to downtown where they had their first date and many after, playing a little basketball which they both love and riding bikes through their favorite neighborhoods, spotting their ideal home — such a fun day! These two were made for each other — the sweetest love you’ll ever see.
Kathy & Gilbert // Foreign Cinema, San Francisco Wedding
Gotta love San Francisco with its endless amount of modern flair. Kathy and Gilbert embody the SF style and their wedding did not disappoint. The ceremony was held in the center of The Palace of Fine Art as on lookers and tourists watched from a distance. The Foreign Cinema could not have been a more perfect location for the reception since Kathy and Gilbert are the biggest film buffs. The start of their relationship was centered around films, attending every film festival together. You have to watch their engagement film at the end of this post. They created it just for their wedding reception and projected it on the wall at the Foreign Cinema during dinner. It was a huge hit to say the least and such a perfect way to bring it all together.

Sarah & Joshua // The Old Homestead, Crockett
Two artistic souls, passionately in love and full of life. The love Sarah and Joshua have for each other is evident, and the passion for adventure is contagious. They are an inspiration with such spontaneous perspective on life and love. Their backyard wedding was set at the Old Homestead, where they celebrated with a small intimate group of great friends and family. Exploring the rolling hills, venturing into the woods and dancing under lights, it was such a beautiful day to say the least. As their day came to a close, they packed up their bags and met their next great adventure: a big move to hawaii for what promises to be an epic start to a sweet sweet love story.

Even amidst all the travel and crazy schedules I make it a prioritiy to soak in some inspiration. You’ll run dry if you don’t constantly go after what makes you happy. The little details, the textures of fabric, the colors in a graphic print, a cute pair of shoes, magazine cut outs, a jcrew catalog…the list is endless. I am so thankful for all the creative talent out there, its so nice to see and constantly challenge and inspire each other. One day, hopefully soon, I’ll have a wall like this to call my own. Kasia & Patryk // The Winery SF, San Francisco Wedding Photography
Kasia and Patryk held one of the most entertaining and life filled weddings. If you remember their engagement session, their love story began as a long distance one, and the wedding brought family together from all over. Tons of family, tons of dancing, lots of love and so much joy! Its so interesting to document and take part of a wedding filled with so much culture. Its pretty amazing to see — they are so blessed to have so much love around them. The backdrop for the day could not have been more perfect either, and all the little elements from florals to the wooden table numbers and centerpieces were drool worthy. Kasia did a beautiful job bringing her vision to life and they partied all night long.

Lauren & Patrick // San Francisco Engagement Photography
Oh Lauren and Patrick, where do I begin with this stunning pair? Lauren emailed me months ago about doing a San Francisco engagement session during her trip to SF with Patrick this summer since SF plays a special place in their love story, it was only fitting for this east coast couple to shoot their engagement session here. One of their first trips together was to SF many years ago and we knew we want to capture the city and some of the best views the bay has to offer. Although we had never met in person, as soon as I arrived and saw Lauren sitting there in her stunning sequins dress and Patrick in his adorable purple bow tie — I thought…YES! It could not have been more perfect for our shoot. Bow ties, glitter, champagne, early morning SF fog, hydrangeas and a super in love duo — what more could I ask for?! I am so happy to have spent time with them while they were here, cheers to their upcoming wedding in DC!
EYE CANDY // 30
Bonjour from France! Arash and I are traveling through France right now and what better eye candy than to grab a few instagram worthy shots from the good ol’ iPhone. We arrived on Thursday to shoot a wedding here and can I just say, wow?! I had been to Paris before but experiencing France in a whole new way this time around. I am in love. The food, the culture, the summer nights — unreal, I tell you. We spent the first few days in Lyon for the wedding which was in one of the most gorgeous locations I have ever seen. And now that work is complete, its time to take a little break to celebrate our 4 year anniversary which is actually this Wednesday! can’t believe its been 4 years — so thankful and blessed beyond belief to travel with Arash and get to photograph and celebrate with couples all over the map. Dream come true. Be back to Cali soon! xoxo You can follow both our france feeds on instagram #delbarashineurope
Aubrey & Matthew // Holman Ranch, Carmel Wedding Photographer
It was so great to see Aubrey and Matthew again, after their engagement session last year, I was super excited to shoot their wedding in gorgeous Carmel Valley. Once again, teaming up with the ever so talented, Simone from Soiree By Simone Lennon, all the pieces came together to bring Aubrey and Matthew’s ranch wedding to life. It felt like a scene out of a classic film, like a subtle nod to the Great Gatsby. Such simplicity mixed with an enormous amount of charm and character — it was such a special wedding to say the least. Matthew’s great big smile as he would gaze at Aubrey throughout the day, spoke volumes about the love and genuine adoration that was overflowing. The two as a pair are so sweet, best friends in love, celebrating with some of their nearest and dearest.
