Spring is here and as much as I am LOVING wearing flip flops and shorts (got to wear shorts for the first time in months yesterday!), I just had to post about the highlight of my winter season. At the end of February our church took a trip to Tahoe, one we usually take every year but this time we decided to change things up a little: new destination…Zephyr Cove. We arrived around midnight on the 19th, a bus full of 50, unloaded all our bags and ran to settle in and get out of the freezing cold. We couldn’t tell exactly what this new place looked like until the next morning. One by one, we each woke up and headed to breakfast and without fail all our faces were in shock at the amazing view just behind our rooms!!! “Who knew there was a lake view from our window!? Where are we?” That was the question of the morning as we all took in the magnificent blue view that surrounded us. Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous. It was then that we all knew we’d be here again and again as the years go by! I highly recommend this place if you ever want to get away. Besides the breathtaking surroundings, the three days we spent together was some of the best memories I’ve ever shared. I am SO blessed to have friends like this! This weekend was the beginning of something beautiful and I can’t wait to see it in full bloom. It was the perfect way to end a winter season!
SUCH a great week-end!! these are awesome, delbs!
