Inspiration, Los Angeles CA | Stylelab Workshop

I had a really sweet opportunity to head down south for a couple days and attend the Stylelab Workshop hosted by the talented, Chenin Boutwell of Boutwell Studio, and the brilliant Amy & Jocey, also known as The Wedding Chicks. It was the first ever photography workshop for me and it was amazing. From how to define my style as a photographer to the ins and outs of the business, I walked away with some valuable knowledge. I know that 2010 is the start of something new… Arash and I both are excited to move forward with Studio Moradi and Delbarr Moradi Photography…with his film background and my design & photography background…its a perfect match, in more ways than one!
Here are some photos I shot from the workshop…

to everyone who made this workshop happen…thank you, thank you!

in her honor…

My grandmother was the definition of class and sophistication. As long as I can remember, she held her head high, and was such a strong woman. Even though her frame was tiny and body was weaker than most, she never allowed her physical limitations to hold her back. I always felt so loved and accepted by her, growing up she always looked out for me and always made me laugh…she was truly one of a kind. She never allowed tradition to hold her back or the norms around her to keep her from being herself. A true inspiration. I know she’s in a better place now, smiling down on me.
