Next week Arash and I are headed to Maui to shoot a wedding and enjoy the beach life with some pretty amazing friends. I can’t wait! It will be so nice to take a break from the computer and enjoy some SUN. I’ve had the beach on my mind for quite some time so its only fitting to post a few things that I’ll be packing for our trip to Hawaii. Happy Friday!!

Been working on a new design project and have been swimming in tons of Wes Anderson’s work as a result. I can’t get enough of it! I think my recent engagement session with Hanniel and Chris was what inspired me even more than ever. I love Wes Anderson’s compositions, color and overall aesthetic. Summer weather has brought out the beach-babe in me, actually more like pool-babe, but still, I am loving this warm weather! I thought I’d pull together some summer inspired items that I’ve been eyeing myself. Any chance I can get to take a break and enjoy some chill time, I most certainly will! Whether you’re spending the summer days poolside, picnicking at the park or laying on a sandy beach, why not have a little inspiration?

I’m always on the lookout for cute flats. I think I may have an obsession with them because if you look at my closet you’ll find all different colors and textures. When they look this cute, how can you resist? I wear them when I shoot weddings too and sometimes it adds that perfect pop of color without being super in your face. You can show so much personality trough a little pair of ballerina flats, right?!
